РI have many questions about this building in New York. Also, I posted about the moon on monday.
– Funny Wikipedia inspired site. (TLDR Wikipedia)
Things all women have done: this is very true and sometimes gross. (Thought Catalog)
– ”To protect another is a kind sentiment and a noble desire, but it can also the worst sort of condescension.” A great Game of Thrones review. (A. V. Club)

This Week:

This was lazy week here in Mexico, and even though I worked half the week I was lazy in spirit. This is what the internet told me:

– So it turns out that the Ancient city of Rome, specifically the Roman Forum is 200 years older that we all thought. (Telegraph)
A Brief History of Men in Tights. I love this so much! (GQ)
Tapestries: the predecesors of social media? (Metropolitan Museum)
– The last Game of Thrones episode were the most hateful character ever dies¬†is inspiring many Agatha Christie-worthy¬†theories. I love Game of Thrones AND Agatha Christie’s books so this is super exciting! (New York Times)
This chair is hilarious. It looks like an alien cocoon… is it slimy? (Dezeen)
– An article on the architectural functionality of museums.¬†It’s an amazing piece. (Dezeen)
– And lastly, 20 ways to slice europe. (An Architecture)

Happy Easter!

This week:

This week I talked about the road between Guanajuato and Guadalajara. Also I showed you this library in Guadalajara, which I happen to have a big crush on. I just find libraries and museums so so peaceful…

And out in the internet world, this is what I found:

– The Tate Museum made public a lot of its audio archives. They made me really happy. (Tate Museum)
Game of Thrones is back!!! This series is a case in which the tv series and the books actually compliment each other. I still have book for on my list of books to read. (Pajiba)
– This video and song are great. My love for the beach continues. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pUjE9H8QlA4
– This woman on a bike is super chic. (The Sartorialist)
РI got to see the sunrise in NY and its magical how they sky gets reflected on all the buildings. This Garance Doré photo is of a sunset (I think) and it reminds me a bit of what I saw that morning. (Garance Doré)
– When cleverness united famous paintings with social media. (My Modern Met)

This Week:

This week I posted photos from the streets of Querétaro, which enchanted me, and a photo of a boy in Balcones de Oblatos in Guadalajara.

Internet Findings:

– An article about how all the current heroines are short and skinny. Very interesting. (The Atlantic)
– No matter what, this website ALWAYS makes me laugh. Its a great mood booster. (Awkward Family Photos)
– This italian dude¬†dismantled a church ‘in the name’ of art. WTF. (ArtDaily.org)
– I love this photo project. (My Modern Met)
– So, my second favorite show How I Met Your Mother (or HIMYM) ended and i have a LOT OF FEELINGS about it. In the end though, I actually feel like it was the perfect ending. And for a show with so many life lessons the ending was the biggest of all: anything can happen and we just have to keep living. So yeah, I actually really like it.
Still, there were many reactions. Twitter basically exploded, and there were articles that helped process the whole thing, and many others in between to fill the void. (Fiction Parker, Thought Catalog, Zimbio, Vanity Fair, TV Line)
– And last but not least, a city covered in petals. Sigh with me! (My Modern Met)

This week:

26.1So I’ve been horrible at posting lately. That’s because I keep¬†giving myself more and more things to do, and well, I’m not super woman. But I hate not following through so I’ll always come back.

This week in the blog I reminisced about¬†the couple of days I spent at the beach. You can see the two different posts here and here. I came back¬†wishing I could’ve stayed longer.

In the world of the internet many things happened:

РSome idiot kid demonstrated everything that is wrong with selfies and the vanity of social media. (Dazed)
– A castle in Syria survived recent attacks and I just sigh. (ArtDaily.org)
– The British editor of Vogue has a point. (Telegraph)
Frida is in Italy and will be traveling the world. (ArtDaily.org)
– Karl Lagerfeld is crazy. With that in mind, what he says is actually entertaining and even wise. (Refinery 29)

This Week:

I only meant to have two photo posts this week but going to Quer√©taro changed my mind. I’m still reeling over that city. So much so, that now I want to study it. I’m a geek and I enjoy it, so whatever.
Anyway, this is my week review:
– Two small girls longing to grow up. (At least it looks like it!)
Quer√©taro’s stunning architecture.
– The Soumaya Museum building in Df. Sexy.

Internet Findings:
-This is what technology should be used for. Help people live better lives, in this case: walk again. (Dezeen)
– In other news, Paris Fashion Week has come and gone. And I keep wondering how fashion people keep up with all of it… these are my thoughts:¬†
· I feel my knees go weak with love for brands like Comme des Garcons, Yohji Yamamoto, Issey Miyake and Junya Watanabe. Still, I always wonder who buys and wears their craziest pieces. (Style.com)
· Hilarious recap on what went down in the Chanel show. (Garance Doré)
· I could wear Saint Laurent and/or Chloé for the rest of my life quite happily.
Pompeii is still suffering. Hasn’t Pompeii been through enough universe? (ArtDaily.org)
Oleg Oprisco‘s surreal photography is everything and more. (My Modern Met)
-And finally THIS Lupita Nyong’o speech about beauty. Get ready to cry. (Youtube)

This week:

I took a break from posting this week. I’ve been just too busy and I felt like I wanted to think about the content I want to put out there. Because the internet is just a huge and timeless thing, I don’t want to just throw stuff out there.
I still roamed the internet as always though. And these were my internet findings of the week:
– This is because I’m in love with Jon Snow. (Fashion Gone Rogue)
– Milan Fashion Week ended last weekend. I’m really not a fashion person but I do love fashion in my own special way, so my highlights of it are: (Style.com)
¬∑ I actually liked a Roberto Cavalli look! (never ever happens, so I’m in shock)
· Dolce & Gabbana, like Gucci, went on a completely pretty direction.
¬∑ And I LOVE Prada, but it always leaves me wondering about life. Don’t ask.
· And can I marry Missoni?
– Also Paris Fashion Week is going on right now. I’ll probably talk about it next week.
– This is my dream room. To hell with gravity!! (My Modern Met)
– How different we would all look if our faces were symmetrical. We should be thankful that they’re not! (My Modern Met)
– Archeologists in Egypt discover a sarcophagus. Dreamy! (Art Daily .org)
